Sum-Sum Summer Time at Chesteriffic

I've never, ever, ever in life ever shared this recipe with anyone.

Are you ready for...... Peach Sangria!!

(This is where the Kool-Aid Man (Only he's now Sangria Man) comes bursting through the door with an "OOOOOOOOH YEAH!")

Here's what you'll need:

1 bottle of white wine - I use Chardonnay, use whatever you like. Nothing too dry, though.
Peach Schnapps - a little over a 1/4 cup...I think.
Simple Syrup - about 1/4
White Cranberry Peach Ocean Spray Cocktail - about 1/2 to 2/3 of a bottle.
Sliced fresh peaches
Club Soda (Optional)
2+ litre Pitcher

Prepare simple syrup (1 part sugar, 1 part water, dissolved in a small saucepan over medium high heat), pour into your pitcher and let cool. Add peach schnapps, wine and top with cranberry juice. Add peach slices and chill for at least 2 hours.

Optional: Fill glass 2/3 with sangria and top with club soda.

And don't worry, this recipe can very, very easily be doubled. Or tripled. Or quadrupled.

This upcoming long weekend might just be the last chance you have to enjoy this delicious beverage!!
