I like retakes on an old classic - and that's just what Little Red A Fizzingly Good Tale is
The Little Red in this story is a boy - a boy named Thomas. Little Red's parents own a cozy inn and sell some amazingly good ginger ale. A keg of which Little Red takes to his Grandma's house every week. Little Red is not to stray from the path to his Grandma's house as there is a wolf hiding in the woods.
Like the wolf in other stories, this one is smart. Or at least he starts out that way.
Little Red stops to pick apples for Grandma and takes off his red coat. The wolf, who is sure two snacks are better than one, steals the coat and races to Grandma's house.
Like the Grandmas in other stories, this one can't see past the end of her nose and, seeing the wolf in red clothing, invites the wolf right in for ginger ale and cake. The wolf promptly eats Grandma and puts on her clothes to wait for Little Red.
This Little Red is one smart boy. And that's when this story becomes a fizzingly good tale.
